TRAUMA, STRESS,  DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY AFFECT THE WAY WE OPERATE AND NAVIGATE OUR WAY THROUGH THE WORLD. IT AFFECTS OUR PSYCHOLOGICAL & PHYSICAL WELLBEING WHICH HAS A DIRECT IMPACT ON OUR INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENTS.

 

MANY OF US WERE NEVER TAUGHT EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND HOW TO USE TOOLS SUCH AS NERVOUS SYSTEM REGULATION, STRESS RESILIENCE, OR MIND-BODY AWARENESS TO HELP US UNDERSTAND AND MANAGE OUR HEALTH, BEHAVIOR AND EMOTIONAL RESPONSES. IT CAN BE DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND OURSELVES AND OTHERS WHEN WE LACK SELF-AWARENESS, SELF-REGULATION, EMPATHY & SOCIAL RELATING. Individuals require the ability to understand and manage their own emotions. By understanding the science behind your emotions and how to manage those responses through neuroplasticity and deep psychological and philosophical reasonings,  leaders walk away with greater emotional intelligence to support themselves and their teams.

Individuals with greater body-awareness use information obtained from bodily sensations to prevent burnout and manage their current state of health. Get a deep understanding on the science of your body. Learn how to optimize the physical body through nutrition, understanding the gut microbiome, and mindful movement.

Trauma impacts how we view ourselves and our relationships with others. Being a conscious individual requires relating and not speaking from projections, narratives or triggers based on old wounds. We will go deep into healing trauma through the body, understanding how trauma desensitizes both the body and our emotions, the neurophysiological basics of stress and nervous system regulation through somatic experiencing and body psychotherapy.

Mastering the spirit offers individuals the ability to view their reality with a new set of eyes. Through spiritual practices, one has the ability to disconnect from the "self" or ego in order to live and work from a place of "presence" and a stronger connection to one's internal and external environment. Here we will explore the subconscious through body awareness, meditation, yoga, pranayama (breathwork) and reiki (energy healing).

Janine is a Naturopath who specialises in herbalism, gut and hormonal health. Through her own health journey she came to realize that in order to heal you have to be in a restful state. Janine’s focus is to empower patients to understand how to do this in their day to day life so their hormones can balance, their energy levels increase and they feel less anxious.

Janine finished her basic training at Winkels Akademie Berlin and went to Hahnemann Schule, Berlin for her studies in Herbalism. Janine is also trained in Endocrinology by Verisana Lab.

She sees patients in Berlin or online where she offers holistic consultations, combining her knowledge in traditional western herbalism and modern testing such as hair mineral analysis, hormone profiling and microbiome tests.

Nicolas got his undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of the West of England in Bristol. He received his masters in Berlin School of Mind and Brain at Humboldt-University in Berlin. The programme combines neuroscience, psychology and philosophy. He has worked for the past four years in the satellite lab of the Max-Planck-Institute for Human, Cognition and Brain Sciences in Berlin where he worked within the ReSource-Project, one of the largest longitudinal studies on meditation and mental training. Besides neuroscience and philosophy his main interest lies in Eastern contemplative traditions, especially Buddhism and Daoism, and the meditative techniques associated with them, e.g. meditation, Yoga and Qigong. He is fascinated by the idea of applying the scientific method to the mind and wants to work towards integrating ancient wisdom and modern technology in order to gain a more complete understanding of the inner workings of the human mind and brain.
